As the churchs spokesperson for the prairies, Father Lacombe played a significant role in influencing government policy. I have had the privilege of working alongside many and varied learning communities within the Calgary Board of Education, and have spent a significant number of those years working alongside senior high schools considering how we design, or redesign our high school structures and processes to respond to the learning needs of young people today. Students will design learning plans to track their interests, successes and progress and develop their understanding of curricular outcomes.
